White Kitchen
White Kitchens
We often get asked about design trends, white kitchens being one of the most common. In our opinion, a classic white kitchen never goes out of style. What does come and go are the features surrounding the white cabinetry. Door style, shade of white, countertops, and hardware finish. These items trend more often than a standard white kitchen alone, but they’re also the items that take a white kitchen and make it custom to it’s user.
The White Kitchen Details
This particular kitchen has a lot of unique farmhouse touches, just enough to meld with the design and location of its beautiful woodsy location. Transom mullions pull the gaze up and give a break to the otherwise monotonous white tone. Behind the glass openings is a prime location for accent lighting and decorative pieces.
A cozy window bench surrounded by ship lap provides a beautiful focal point and a relaxing space. This kitchen was geared towards entertaining the family, and extra seating always goes a long way.
Paneled appliances immediately enhance the aesthetic, along with the matching paneled ends on the island and perimeter sides. A unique opening above the fridge was a prime location for decor, in an otherwise hard to reach area.
This beautiful wood hood conceals the vent and maximizes the design. Decorative backsplash pattern and a beautiful pot filler all become an essential part of the kitchens function and appearance.
Sitting proudly in the center, a white porcelain apron front sink ties each of the features together. With no windows in the cabinets perimeter, this was a great place to center the sink and top it off with a long neck coil faucet.
Whatever our clients bring to the table, we have a solution. Whether it be a monitor, or a specific appliance, there is always an effective and unique way to make it blend seamlessly into the design.
