The Halco Process
Halco strives to be set apart. In doing so we value relationships with our potential clients and work diligently to keep their best interests in mind. Our offerings range from design and sales of cabinetry to remodels, additions, and new construction. We serve
and assist our clients in every way possible.
Initial Contact and Budget
Following initial contact, the potential client can expect a phone call from our sales team. The project of interest will be discussed to gain further understanding of all that is involved. Depending on the type of project, an in-home consultation will then be scheduled. During this appointment, our sales team will measure and inspect existing conditions, noting pertinent information, as well as discuss the ideas and wishes of the client. From here, the sales team will create a budgeted proposal based on the scenarios and options discussed. This proposal will be brief, yet descriptive and will be subject to change based upon the final scope of the work. An appointment will be scheduled to present the budget, providing discussion and questions about the information.
Design Phase
Once the client has a chance to review the budget and approve it, they will then enter the design phase. This phase requires a fee of 1.5% of the total budgeted amount. We will work from the budgeted proposal as the framework to build the final contract proposal.
Using the measurements, notes and budget from the initial in-home consultation, an initial layout will be created. A meeting in the showroom with the designer will be scheduled to review the layout and make any changes necessary. Then, the designer will introduce our samples to choose a door style and color. Cabinetry options can be viewed and discussed, as well as other finishes such as flooring, backsplash, countertops, and hardware. If the layout and budget require updates, they will be made and provided to the client within a few days.
In the final phase of design, an in-home appointment will be scheduled. The designer will bring the selections for the client to confirm and will double check all measurements. Details of the design will be discussed so ensure the client is aware of the exact
layout and plan and a final contract will be signed.
Construction
As the design phase nears completion, a schedule will be predetermined, and a start date provided following initial payment. Project management is included in each project and provides a hands-off approach for our clients. Our business operates using digital project software that clients will have access to allowing them to view a live schedule of events, daily logs, and other essential information.
